industrial design has different names all over the world. Industrial design is just that – designing industrial products or goods that are consumed in one form or another…eg: a electrical fridge, a bottle of water etc.

Is product design not the same as industrial design?

    lol..
I see what you are saying. As an industrial designer I can see what you mean by thinking before making random shapes.
Thats the difference I have noticed between industrial designers and product designers. Industrial designers are actually trained to create new product categories. On the other hand product designers have greater sketching and CAD skills. But I.D people can acquire those skills later.
Anyway the video looks very cool :)

you still have to lift the full bottle (i think those are empty water bottles used in this video.) Ins a clever idea and nice design but it hasn’t solved the problem completely or efficiently.

    Heeeey, fantastic design project.

BTW, I wanna go to UK to study Product Design. I love designing cars and technology gadgets. I’ve also heard of Industrial Design and Automotive Design, but I think this major best covers the field that I want. :)

Can you please guide me by replying to this message, so I can be informed?

    Thanks mates.

    sooo…
this is more efficient than the water towers fueled by gravity and is easier to install
    and is more compact
    and a better product overall
    NOT

and, where is the concept exactly in this ? Making a Star-wars-like giant water tower ? Man this is ridiculous, please think before making random shapes like that. If you want to change the archetype of this object, think of its advantages as well. This is pretenciously big, naive and shallow… by the way, sorry for being that harsh, your video is really cool though.
